As a California native, I interned with Nisum's Blockchain Lab in Chile.As a Californian, getting the opportunity to intern for the Nisum Blockchain Lab in Santiago, Chile was beyond exciting. It was my first time living abroad, but Nisum Chile’s culture is so hospitable, they welcomed me immediately. I worked with bleeding-edge technologies, and even as an intern, I got to shape my career path in a fast-paced environment in which I thrived. I got hands-on technical experience and was even able to squeeze Nisum-hosted salsa classes in between. I know this would not have been possible at a larger company.
After graduation, I joined Nisum USA as a full-time employee. Since, I’ve worked on advanced data analytics, product management, and the innovation team. I have always felt supported by my managers to explore my interests to discover and improve my skills.
Nisum is always exploring advanced technologies, and I know there will always be something exciting to learn here.

My work was developed into high-impact global initiatives in my first year at Nisum Chile.When I joined Nisum, I had no idea how much my life was going to change. I started off doing researching tasks for management, and in a few months, my work was presented at global strategic meetings. Later that year, I got the opportunity to work with the Chilean government and gained their financial support to stimulate jobs at Nisum Chile. I appreciated the opportunity to work on these high-impact initiatives early in my career. I had another life-changing opportunity to join the Nisum USA team to help develop leadership programs, the innovation program, and a variety of other high-level strategic initiatives. I also got married and settled in California along the way. Nisum has provided me so much freedom in my career thus far. I'm not sure where my career at Nisum will go next, but I know it will always be exciting.

Nisum Innovation is an internal initiative that provides a platform for our talent's curious minds to explore new solutions. Participants serve as leaders of change and are responsible for promoting innovation by facilitating the Innovation Catalyst Program.
Innovation Catalyst Program allows employees to submit ideas to a VC investment style approval cycle to develop new MVPs, concepts, or processes.
